Amon is a dedicated engineer, who stood out from a very young age, for his interest in academics. While studying, Amon developed projects in Thin Film Fabrication and Characterization
Chemistry for Materials Scientists, Physical Metallurgy, Surface Technology Physics of Polymers and Macromolecular Chemistry. He began his career at his Alma Mater, as a student research assistant, working in Synthesis and Characterization of inorganic polymers and compounds. He later moved on to Siemens AG, Corporate Technology Division, with both his internship and his Diploma Thesis, in Development of new processes for the atmospheric pressure plasma deposition for applications in harsh environments. He went back to the Disperse Solids Department of Technische Universität Darmstadt, Germany, as a research associate and PhD candidate, being responsible for coordination and execution of two research projects with international partner: National Science Foundation (NSF), as part of a PhD research program called “Development of inorganic polysylilcarbodiimide (S-C-N) based polymers for spin and dip coating processing. Process development and optimization of Si-C-N ceramic coatings for high temperature (>1200°C) and corrosion resistant applications”. In his time with PI Integral Solutions, he has been a key element in the innovation and project portfolio management, serving as liaison between the company and key partners.
